Travis was born in a little town called Picayune, Mississippi in the deep south. Growing up he loved listening to Elvis Presley music and watching his movies. Unfortunately Travis never did develop the pipes needed for singing, so he took up the guitar instead. He has been playing lead guitar for about 25 years and his musical influences range from blues, country, to good American rock and roll. In Travis’ musical career thus far, he has been fortunate enough to tour the country with a professional band that opened for over 20 major label artists. These artists include Lee Roy Parnell, The Kentucky Headhunters, Leann Rimes, and Restless Heart to name just a few.
Travis was introduced to praise and worship music at his church. While getting used to the format, he fell in love with that genre of music. The music spoke deeper to him than any other ever had. This is where Travis met Michael and the dream began.
When he doesn’t have his hands around a guitar, Travis likes to go camping, four wheeler riding, watch movies, workout, vacation, or play golf. But, above all of this he loves his wife and two children, Savannah & Cade and loves spending time with them.
Travis accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior when he was a teenager in junior high school. Travis is grateful to be using his talents in the service of the Almighty Creator of the Universe.
